Graham please explain the presence of those in black outfits, wearing motorcycle helmets, carry clubs and pepper spray and mace? Is that how legitimate protesting is done? Is it permissible to beat up people whose opinions are found to be offensive and disagreeable?
Evidently, Sen. Graham and Sen. McCain (see his tweet the other day on this subject) have concluded that beating or, pepper spraying someone who is a self-described Nazi (or white supremacist) is not merely acceptable, it's a moral imperative.
Sen. McCain and Sen. Graham seem to have overlooked, for the convenience of their position, that we have a 1st Amendment. Even those whose beliefs are offensive and ugly have the right to express them. Beating Nazis and white supremacists, or for that matter, even adherents of BLM, is neither legally or morally justifiable.
Those who use violence to enforce their will are not different than Nazis - they are the Nazis. Show more1 month ago
