Lynette “Diamond” Hardaway of the famous “Diamond and Silk” pro-Trump sister team passed away unexpectedly this week.

The Western Journal reports that she left this Earth at age 51 in her North Carolina home.

There is little doubt that Diamond and Silk had a significant role as some supporting cast for President Trump’s campaign rallies and much more. This was mentioned frequently during the celebration of life ceremony to honor Hardaway and her contributions to her friends, family, and support of the former President.

The Western Journal reports that President Trump heavily promoted the celebration of life ceremony on his social media platform Truth Social. In addition, he picked up the cost of the funeral as well. Rochelle “Silk” Richardson, the sister of Hardaway, mentioned this during the ceremony.

One Twitter user wrote the following about it:

“Silk talks about how DJT told her to have whatever she wanted for Diamond's funeral, and he would cover the costs. I love this man.”

The Western Journal reports that Richardson stated the following about it: “I got to tell this,” and “And I pray and hope that it is OK with President Trump because he does things and it doesn’t get out in public, and now that I have the world’s attention, I have to say this.”

The Western Journal reports that she went on to say the following at the ceremony:

“When I told him that Diamond had passed, he said, ‘oh,’ he was heartbroken. He said, ‘OK, we’re going to have a nice gathering for her, a nice funeral,’ and I said oh no, we don’t have a body. We followed her wishes, and we cremated her. He said, ‘OK, I want you to do whatever you want, I want you to have the best of whatever you want, and whatever you want, Diamond would have, and I don’t want you to worry about paying for nothing.’”

The ceremony was open to the public, and when Richardson said all of this, cheers and applause from the gathered audience broke out. Pointing to President Trump himself in the audience, Richardson said that he never wavered in his support for the duo and that he did more than anyone could have ever expected someone to do to help her and her family as they go through this period of grief.
