The New York Post reports that many young people arrested at the Atlanta protest are children from privileged families. They are now terrorist suspects.
The New York Post reports that hundreds of protestors have recently ended up in the Five Points neighborhood near downtown Atlanta, protesting the death of one of their comrades in a police-involved shooting. Many of the gathered protestors are members of Antifa, and many of them are now arrested for acts of terrorism related to what they have done in downtown Atlanta.
On January 18, Manuel Esteban Paez Teran shot and seriously injured a Georgia State Patrol trooper in the so-called “autonomous zone” before he was shot and killed by police himself. This has led to an 18-month occupation to try to stop the construction of the Atlanta Public Safety Training Center.

This movement calls itself the “Stop Cop City” movement, and they seem dead set on making sure the police center cannot be built in this part of downtown Atlanta. The group has made vague references to also trying to protect the forest in the area, but it seems that they are mainly interested in preventing a cop training center.

The New York Post reports that Saturday’s gathering of militants at the site had them shouting: “If you build it, we will burn it.”

The violence got real as militants lit a police car on fire, smashed windows of businesses, and damaged the Atlanta Police Foundation building. There were live stream videos of the situation that showed the militants working in a coordinated fashion to damage the various police facilities in the area. They were using various tactics to ensure they could maximize the damage they could do to those buildings.
Now it has come out that these individuals are the children of privilege, leaving many people rethinking what these individuals are all about. They are not necessarily masked rebels. They would like everyone to think they are. Instead, they are spoiled children first and foremost. That deserves to be recognized and understood as these people continue to cause mayhem they are causing in downtown Atlanta.
