Police in Jacksonville, Florida, have arrested in the murder investigation of slain Microsoft executive Jared Bridegan according to the New York Post.

While they mentioned that they had been arrested in the case, they also mentioned that they did not believe their suspect acted alone. In short, they feel there is more to the story than what has come to this point.

Henry Tenon, 61, has been arrested on the charges of second-degree murder and other lesser charges for the murder of Jared Bridegan in front of his 2-year-old child.

The New York Post reports that the Jacksonville Police department refused to answer any further questions about the investigation, including any potential motive or connection between their suspect and the victim. They insisted that Tenon did not act alone, but they would not elaborate further about any additional suspects or anything related to the case.

Bridegan, 33, was driving to his home to drop off his children when he spotted a tire in the middle of the road and pulled over to try to get it out of the road. Bridegan’s 2-year-old son was sitting in the back of the vehicle. Police say this was set up as a planned ambush because Bridegan was shot dead when he stepped out of his SUV to try to take care of the tire.

Bexley, the 2-year-old child in this situation, sat on the side of the road for approximately 3 minutes before a passerby saw the child’s injured father and pulled over to call 911.

It was later revealed that Bridegan had been in combat with his wife about custody matters related to their children before this incident occurred.

According to reporting by the New York Post, Gardner Fernandez (Bridegan’s ex-wife) and her new husband strongly deny that they had anything to do with this attack. Fox News reported that the 35-year-old Gardner-Fernandez recently moved with the two children she shares with Bridegan to Richland, Washington, without her husband. Sources told Fox News that the two are now estranged.

Many wonders if there is something more to this story and what it might all mean.
