J.K. Rowling went from being one of the most beloved authors on the planet to someone that the Left sees as an enemy of everything they stand for.

The dramatic change in how the woke mob seems to view the children’s author happened suddenly with intense reactions. Redstate reports that any positive interaction with Rowling might earn you a spot on the bad list for those in the woke mob.

Actor Mark Hamill, who has advocated for left-wing ideas and policies for most of his life, has suddenly drawn scrutiny from people upset that he liked a tweet by Rowling. The tweet that Hamill liked was a response from J.K. Rowling to one of her critics.

Redstate reports that the critic’s name is India Willoughby, who is transgender and who tweeted the following statement:

“I’m more of a woman than JK Rowling will ever be.”

The response from Rowling was straightforward and read:

“Mark Hamill liked the tweet, which is when the woke mob unleashed on him.”

This interaction is not the first time that Hamill has liked a Rowling tweet, and his critics quickly pointed this out. Clicking “like” on a Rowling tweet now gets you branded as a transphobic person, even without further evidence or discussion about why you liked a specific tweet. Some people will associate you with everything that Rowling has ever tweeted if you take a stand like that.

Redstate reports that Hamill is likely, NOT transphobic. Still, he sees the argument that Rowling is trying to make by clapping back at a transgender individual who believes they are more of a woman than Rowling. Then, some see it as even more straightforward than that. He might view Rowling as a friend he wanted to lend some support to by liking her tweet. Also, he might have “liked” the tweet without thoroughly reading it or considering all its implications.

Whatever the case may be, many think it is unfair to Hamill that he is being branded as a transphobic individual when he has not shown any previous signs of this. It doesn’t make sense that people can’t even like a tweet without drawing hate these days.
