Give Him A Break: Co-Stars Come To Defense Of Tim Allen After "Flashing" Allegations (Video)

The Blaze reports that this was something that she felt the need to do because an old video clip surfaced that reportedly shows Allen flashing Richardson.

The comments from Richardson are particularly noteworthy during a week in which Pamela Anderson, who had a minor role on “Home Improvement,” said that Allen flashed her while on sight. The Blaze reports that Anderson claims that Allen flashed her before filming the pilot episode of Home Improvement. These claims come in a new book that Anderson is releasing this week.

Variety reported on the allegations that are to be included in the book. They write:

“On the first day of filming, I walked out of my dressing room, and Tim was in the hallway in his robe. He opened his robe and flashed me quickly — completely naked underneath. He said it was only fair because he had seen me naked. Now we’re even. I laughed uncomfortably.”

Allen denied that he did this. He told Variety the following: “No, it never happened. I would never do such a thing.”

Following Anderson’s allegations, TMZ obtained a video of a blooper reel from the show. The clip shows Richardson and Allen standing in the living room set of the show. Allen’s character is wearing a kilt in this scene, and it appears that he flashes Richardson. She responds, “Hangs long. I just wish it was shorter.” Both characters laugh.

The Blaze reports that the clip has been used to add credibility to Anderson’s allegations. However, Richardson wanted to shut that down right away by telling TMZ:

“People ask me what was under the kilt when he flashed me. He was well dressed under there. I was just shocked that he lifted the kilt, not by a man in boxer shorts.”

Anderson has not backed down from her claims that Allen flashed her. She said that the truth would soon come out in her forthcoming book. Anderson said the following in a statement about the issue:

“This true story is just one of many surreal and uncomfortable situations I learned to navigate.”

and

“My book goes into how it made me feel over the course of my life and, in this case, my career. I have no ill will toward Tim. But like the rest, it should never have happened.”
