Watch: GOP Former Doctor Calls For Biden To Undergo A Cognitive Test

GOP Rep. Scott DesJarlais, a former doctor himself, is calling for President Biden to undergo a cognitive skills test as part of his upcoming routine physical.

The Daily Mail reports that the 80-year-old Biden is already scheduled to have a physical this month. However, it is still being determined if he will undergo the cognitive testing that some believe he must undergo.

President Biden appears to be gearing up for a run for re-election in 2024, and many believe that the American people need to have every bit of information they can about the President's cognitive health at this time.

Congressman DesJarlais said the following on the matter:

"I think it would be important to see a very thorough and comprehensive cognitive function study that is released with transparency to the general public."

He was speaking with the Washington Examiner and continued by saying:

"The American people want to know that their commander-in-chief is fully capable of performing at the highest level to protect the safety and security of the nation."

Biden is known for making many gaffes and verbal slip-ups. He has been making these kinds of errors more and more often as of late, which has many people concerned about his ability to continue to take on the job that he has to do daily in the White House.

Many are eagerly awaiting the results of this medical evaluation. Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre recently stated that President Biden would receive his physical in February. The Daily Mail reports that it had previously been set for January, but the White House has allowed this to slip into February instead.

Jean-Pierre stated the following about it:

"He will have one before the - by the time the end of this month is out."

and

"He - we will share the information. We will have more to share about that before the month is over."

However, Biden has been on the road and at Camp David at the very end of January. Thus, the public has yet to see the results of any physical that the President may or may not have already undergone. Thus, we are all still in the dark about what is going on with his health now.
