Revealed: AOC and Other Federal Politicians Caught With These SHADY Ties

There are reports from Fox News that high-level politicians such as Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) and others, including two Democrats and one Republican, reportedly have spent thousands of dollars in campaign payments to a Chinese foreign agent.

This was discovered by a Fox News Digital investigation of some campaign finance records that might otherwise have gone unchecked.

Reps. Kevin Mullin, D.-Calif., Grace Meng, D.-N.Y, and Nicole Malliotakis, R.-N.Y., and AOC were all found to have sent campaign cash to Sing Tao U.S., a subsidiary of the Hong Kong-based Sing Tao News Corporation Ltd, for advertising purposes during the midterms.

This means those campaigns sent money to the Chinese-owned entity that the Department of Justice insisted register as a foreign agent in August 2021 as tensions were high between Washington DC and Beijing.

AOC's campaign put out nearly $1,500 in campaign funds to Sing Tao U.S., and the other members of Congress caught up in this appeared to give between $1,000 and $7,000 each to the same organization. Fox News reports that all this information can be found in Federal Election Commission records that are available for anyone who wants to view these records.

That is just how brave some politicians have been when dealing with campaign funds and foreign agents. They don't seem to care much about the appearance they might make by donating to agents like this.

Sing Tao's United States operations have publications in New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. According to Fox News, it also has a radio station in Burlingame, California.

Axios reports that the publications are very pro-Beijing and put out in a way that doesn't necessarily make it clear that these publications might be classified as Chinese propaganda.

Sing Tao U.S. insists that it is independent and free from Beijing messaging. Still, China maintains one of the "world's most restrictive media environments, relying on censorship to control information in the news, online, and on social media," says the Council on Foreign Relations. Thus, any journalistic outlet with such close ties to China must be considered to at least be influenced in some way by Beijing's messaging.

In the past, the Chinese government has cut off access to media and publications that it does not agree with. This is important because it means they might not want to put out the truth more so than they want to put out pro-Beijing messages.
