Fox News Digital has reported that this all comes as the President faces a scandal related to his handling of classified documents. There was quite a dust-up related to how former President Trump handled classified documents, but now President Biden has his scandal related to these matters.
Sussex County records show President Biden obtained a large sum of money from M&T Bank on December 5, 2022. County records show that the President and First Lady bought the home in 2017 for $2.74 million.

It is still being determined why the President opted to secure a line of credit against his home that will allow him to borrow up to $250,000 against the home if he opts to do so. The White House did not respond to a request for comment by Fox News Digital.

This move comes as Hunter Biden is in even hotter water than he was before. He is caught up in a federal investigation related to the classified documents that appear to have been stored at the Biden residence and other areas to which the Bidens had access.

Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss is investigating Hunter Biden for tax matters and a variety of other business dealings that Hunter appears to have had with China and other foreign governments.
All of this occurred while the President was dealing with a classified documents scandal of his own that burst into public view in mid-January. It turns out that when the public first heard about the scandal in mid-January, Biden's lawyers discovered some of the first documents that needed to be turned over on November 2, 2022. This was days before the mid-term elections, but it was revealed that there were classified documents at a Biden think tank later after the election.

This led the FBI to investigate if the classified documents might have been mishandled.
