Stanley emphasized in his post titled "My Thoughts On What I'm Seeing" that there is a significant distinction between teaching acceptance and promoting a lifestyle that may confuse young children.
He wrote, "There is a BIG difference between teaching acceptance and normalizing and even encouraging participation in a lifestyle that confuses young children into questioning their sexual identification as though some sort of game and then parents in some cases allow it."
He further noted that while some adults may opt for gender reassignment, it should not be treated as a game for children or normalized by parents based on innocent behaviors like cross-dressing.
"There ARE individuals who as adults may decide reassignment is their needed choice but turning this into a game or parents normalizing it as some sort of natural alternative or believing that because a little boy likes to play dress up in his sister's clothes or a girl in her brother's, we should lead them steps further down a path that's far from the innocence of what they are doing," Stanley added.

Transgender advocacy groups argue that even young children, as early as two years old, can recognize their transgender identity. One mother reported that her four-year-old daughter identified as a boy, and the mother accepted her child's assertion without question.

Stanley concluded by expressing his concern over the confusion that may arise among children with no real sense of sexuality or sexual experiences. "With many children who have no real sense of sexuality or sexual experiences caught up in the 'fun' of using pronouns and saying what they identify as, some adults mistakenly consume teaching acceptance with normalizing and encouraging a situation that has been a struggle for those truly affected and have turned into a sad and dangerous fad."

Fellow musician, Dee Snider of Twisted Sister, supported Stanley's stance in response to his post, writing, "You know what? There was a time where I 'felt pretty' too. Glad my parents didn't jump to any rash conclusions! Well said, [Paul Stanley]."

Earlier this year, a mother who transitioned her four-year-old son to live as a girl expressed her regrets and shared her experience of detransitioning her child.
Notably, detransition rates for minors who undergo gender reassignment procedures and treatments are reportedly as high as 30 percent, a significant contrast to the less than 1 percent rate cited by transgender activists.
