A new entertainment alternative is emerging amid Disney's legal battles with Florida and its governor and the company's involvement in the woke culture wars.

The Logos Theatre, based in Taylor, South Carolina, is gaining popularity for its stage productions, films, and conservatory, which are all part of its umbrella organization, The Academy of the Arts.

The theater's artistic director, Nicole Stratton, believes that God has raised the organization for such a time as this. The Logos Theatre is committed to promoting the foundational faith values that built America, which is no longer evident in the Disney brand.

Stratton understands the dilemma facing parents who want their children to watch wholesome entertainment that affirms their values rather than indoctrinating them with secular views on gender. Disney has been accused of giving in to "woke pressure" and removing objectionable language such as "ladies and gentlemen" and "boys and girls" from their theme parks.

The company has also rewritten two songs in the upcoming live-action "The Little Mermaid" remake to avoid making young children uncomfortable. Stratton believes that parents can turn to The Logos Theatre if they find these changes objectionable.

The Logos Theatre is part of the academy's ministry, which exists to make faith come alive through storytelling. The word "logos" is Greek for "word," and theologically, it has a much deeper meaning. The Logos represents the principle of divine reason and creative order, identified in the Gospel of John with the second person of the Trinity incarnates in Jesus Christ. The theater's purpose is to make faith come alive through storytelling.

Although The Logos Theatre is currently a David to Disney's Goliath, its larger-than-life puppets created for stage productions such as C.S. Lewis' "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Horse and His Boy" rival any Hollywood special effects.

The more enormous puppets require three people to operate, and the horse in "The Horse and His Boy" is sizable and sturdy enough for actors to ride. The puppet of Aslan, the lion who represents Christ in "The Chronicles of Narnia," has etched on his frame the wounds that Jesus suffered on the cross. Master Puppeteer Justin Swain believes puppet-making is simply part of the ministry, as they serve the Creator.

The Logos Theatre is committed to promoting traditional values, limited government, individual freedom, and free-market economics, among other aspects. As a conservative alternative to Disney, the theater's productions are sympathetic to conservative viewpoints and critical of liberal or progressive views, as appropriate. The theater aims to provide engaging, credible, original entertainment that maintains its core message and conservative perspective.
