In a recent appearance on "Morning Joe," former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi dismissed concerns about President Joe Biden's age, despite being three years older than him.

The 83-year-old California Democrat stated that age is "relative" and referred to Biden as "a kid."

Pelosi shared anecdotes from her recent trip to Los Angeles, where she met with 100-year-old Norman Lear, who was involved in new shows, and 90-something architect Frank Gehry, who showcased his new buildings worldwide. She emphasized that both individuals considered people in their 80s as young, further highlighting the relativity of age. Pelosi concluded that since Biden is younger than her, she perceives him as a "kid."

However, despite Pelosi's dismissive stance, multiple polls have revealed that a majority of Democratic voters believe Biden is too old to serve a second term. If he were to complete a second term, he would be 86 years old by the time he left office in 2028.

The President's mental capacity has also come under scrutiny due to his tendency to mutter indiscernible words and mix up his speech. In September 2022, Biden even looked around for a deceased congresswoman at a White House conference, weeks after she had tragically died in a car crash.

Following this incident, reporters questioned White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre about the President's mental acuity. Jean-Pierre excused Biden's mistake by stating that Republican Indiana Rep. Jackie Walorski was "on top of mind."

In addition to these incidents, Biden has been observed shaking hands with the air during a speech in North Carolina in April 2022. He also stumbled and fell onstage after tripping over a sandbag during the U.S. Air Force Academy graduation. Prior to these incidents, he fell off his bike during a vacation in Delaware and nearly tripped downstairs at the Itsukushima Shrine in Hiroshima during his visit to Japan in May.

These occurrences have raised concerns about Biden's physical coordination and mental sharpness. As the President continues to navigate his term, questions surrounding his age and overall fitness for office persist.
