Podcaster Joe Rogan has put forward a theory that President Biden may face scandals that could potentially bring him down before the 2024 election.

However, Rogan also believes that California Governor Gavin Newsom would not be a viable replacement for Biden.

Rogan pointed out that President Biden is currently facing increased scrutiny over his alleged involvement with his son Hunter Biden's business dealings. While Rogan acknowledged that the allegations against Biden seem "real valid," he theorized that some Democratic leaders may use the controversy as an opportunity to nominate another leader in his place.

"It also seems like if this is all coming out, what a good way to remove a president that is mentally compromised," Rogan said. "It seems like if you were in the Democratic Party and you thought like 'Listen, there's a certain amount of people that are going to vote blue no matter who, we just need a better representation.'"

Rogan then expressed doubt about Vice President Kamala Harris's electability, especially in light of her widely reported history of verbal gaffes and "word salads."

"You could not have Kamala Harris. She would not win, people would be very, very reluctant to vote for her for president I think after just listening to her talk for the last 3 years, like 'What?'" Rogan stated.

During the discussion, Canadian professor Gad Saad jokingly suggested another replacement for Biden, "Californian Justin Trudeau, it's Gavin Newsom."

Rogan responded by saying that Newsom had done a poor job as the Governor of California, making him an unlikely candidate. However, he did acknowledge that Newsom "does spit out some good propaganda."

Rogan went on to criticize Newsom's leadership, highlighting the number of major companies and influential intellectuals in California. However, he also pointed out that many people in the state feel stuck and are considering leaving. According to a survey, 4 out of 10 people in California are thinking about moving out.

Rogan himself considered leaving California during the riots in 2020 following the death of George Floyd. He stated, "I was like 'This ain't going in a good direction and I f---ing smell chaos.'"

He further criticized California's policies, particularly their far-left approach to crime and homelessness. Rogan described the situation as "madness," with stores having to lock up merchandise due to rampant crime. He expressed frustration at the lack of course correction and readjustment, emphasizing the need to take care of disenfranchised people while also keeping the streets safe and addressing crime.

Rogan also criticized the progressive mindset in California, claiming that they hold unreasonable beliefs. He suggested that an overwhelming number of people in California's major cities "believe all sorts of wacky s---" and were the first to embrace lockdowns and mask mandates.
