The women representing the soccer team have once again found themselves in a situation that is both embarrassing and disappointing.

Prior to the match, only four players - Alex Morgan, Julie Ertz, Alyssa Naeher, and Lindsey Horan - sang the national anthem while on the pitch. However, their rendition seemed lackluster, with the Daily Mail noting that they appeared to be mumbling the words rather than singing them with enthusiasm.

In stark contrast, every Netherlands player stood and sang along with "Wilhelmus," their national anthem. This display of disrespect towards our great nation is becoming tiresome, and Americans are not shy about expressing their disappointment.

The women's performance on the field was equally underwhelming. Despite being heavily favored, the Americans could only manage a measly 1-1 draw against their Dutch opponents. It took a goal from Horan in the 62nd minute to salvage a tie and avoid what would have been an embarrassing defeat.

This match was a rematch of the 2019 Women's World Cup Final, which the U.S. won 2-0. Given the significant difference in talent between the two teams, one would have expected a similar outcome rather than a tie.

The U.S. Women's team is aiming to make history by becoming the first team, in both the men's and women's game, to win the World Cup in three consecutive tournaments. However, their actions both on and off the field have alienated a significant portion of the American public, who are now hoping for their failure.
