LeBron James expressed his gratitude to the "countless people" who have shown support and offered prayers for his family following the news of his son, Bronny James, experiencing a cardiac arrest during a workout at USC's Galen Center on Monday.

Taking to Twitter on Thursday, the NBA star shared his appreciation, stating, "I want to thank the countless people sending my family love and prayers. We feel you and I'm so grateful. Everyone is doing great. We have our family together, safe and healthy, and we feel your love. Will have more to say when we're ready, but I wanted to tell everyone how much your support has meant to all of us!"

According to a statement from a James family spokesperson, Bronny is now out of the ICU and in stable condition. The incident occurred at the Trojans' practice facility and was confirmed by the James family spokesperson.

The spokesperson stated, "Yesterday, while practicing, Bronny James suffered a cardiac arrest. Medical staff promptly treated Bronny and transported him to the hospital. He is currently in stable condition and has been moved out of the ICU. We kindly request respect and privacy for the James family, and we will provide further updates to the media as more information becomes available. LeBron and Savannah would like to express their deepest gratitude to the USC medical and athletic staff for their exceptional work and commitment to the safety of their athletes."

The sports community swiftly rallied behind Bronny and the James family, with Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin offering his prayers, having experienced a cardiac arrest himself during a "Monday Night Football" game against the Cincinnati Bengals just over six months ago. NBA players Jayson Tatum, Trae Young, and Donovan Mitchell also extended their prayers.
