Jessica Nuñez, the mother of Alicia Navarro, has made a heartfelt plea to the public, urging them to "move on" from her daughter's sudden reappearance.

In a video posted on the "Finding Alicia" Facebook page, Nuñez expressed her gratitude for the support she has received since Alicia first went missing in 2019. However, she also warned that the public's search for answers has taken a dangerous turn.

"Let's focus on the fact that my daughter is alive. This is a miracle," Nuñez said in the emotional video. "I could never have kept going without all of your love, help, and well wishes. I can't even put into words the amount of gratitude I have for you all."

Nuñez went on to explain that the public's search for answers has become a threat to Alicia's safety and the well-being of her family. She revealed that she has been harassed and her family has been attacked online. People have even attempted to show up at Alicia's house, putting her safety in jeopardy.

"I beg you, please no more TikToks, no more reaching out to Alicia or to me with your speculation or questions or assumptions," Nuñez pleaded. "This is not a movie, this is our life, this is my daughter. I love her more than anything in the world, and I think I have shown you that. There's an ongoing investigation, and I'm begging you to move on."

Nuñez's plea comes after reports from Navarro's neighbors, who claimed that she had fought with a man she had been living with in Havre, Montana, and had threatened to "go back." Navarro, who had willingly left her home in Glendale, Arizona, in 2019, walked into a local police precinct the day before the argument, requesting to be taken off the missing person's list so she could live a "normal life" and obtain a driver's license.

It remains unclear how long Navarro had been living in the Havre apartment, but a neighbor confirmed that she and a man in his 20s had been residents for about a year. Police have detained and questioned a man at the same apartment complex, although it is uncertain if he is the same person Navarro had been living with.

Navarro, who is described as autistic but high-functioning, left a note when she ran away from home, stating, "I ran away. I will be back. I swear. I'm sorry." While Navarro has spoken briefly with her mother, her intentions regarding whether she plans to return home remain unclear. Police have stated that she is still considered a victim, and her family's private investigators have confirmed that she has not been harmed and is not being held against her will.
