Renowned actor Jason Priestley recently expressed his family's delight over their relocation from Los Angeles to Nashville, citing the "ease of operation" they have experienced since the move.

Priestley and his wife, Naomi, made the decision to relocate contingent on their children's acceptance into a school in the Tennessee city.

In an interview with E! News, Priestley revealed, "My wife and I just said to each other, 'If the kids get into the school, we're going to Nashville!' And lo and behold, they both got in, so we moved, and we love it."

The 54-year-old actor finds life in Nashville "easier to navigate" compared to Los Angeles. He also noted a slower pace of life, attributing this to the city's distinct four seasons. "We get four seasons instead of one season," he explained. "Because you have markers, and you know what time of year it is, it seems to make time go a little bit slower."

Priestley and Naomi are parents to two children, Ava and Dashiell. The couple's love story began on a London street, where they first met while Priestley was in England for work and Naomi, an English makeup artist, had just graduated from college. They tied the knot in 2005.

Naomi, on her website, described their meeting as "truly serendipitous." She wrote, "Jason and I became inseparable and when his job came to an end in England, we took the jump, and I moved back to New York with him….then Vancouver, Calgary, Indianapolis, Toronto, LA….ok, you get the picture."

Priestley's acting career began in his childhood, featuring in commercials while residing in Vancouver, Canada. "Being a kid actor in Canada meant I got beat up more than normal kids," he reminisced in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. "The older kids just beat me up a lot more. ‘Hey, I saw you on TV in a commercial, kid.’ Boom!"
