Pippa Middleton Will Get This Royal Title When She Marries James Matthews

Written by  Instyle

Pippa Middleton is set to walk down the aisle tomorrow, and she's going to gain more than just a husband.

Once she ties the knot with her financier fiancé James Matthews, the British beauty will also be privy to a fancy new title.

And while the 33-year-old won't become a duchess or princess like her older sister Kate Middleton, she will indeed by a lady.

Due to the fact that Matthews is heir to the Scottish title of Laird of Glen Affric—a position his father currently holds because he owns a sprawling 10,000-acre Scottish highlands estate—when the 41-year-old inherits that title, Pippa will become Lady Glen Affric. Until that time, the royal-in-law will be deemed Mrs. Matthews of Glen Affric the younger. However, she is not formally required to use either name and can choose to ignore the change altogether.

Royal title or not, we can't wait to see what she wears for the ceremony.
