Tom Cruise Has Been Preparing For His Mission: Impossible 6 Sequence For A Crazy Long Time

Written by  Cinemablend

Say what you will about Tom Cruise, but the man is practically fearless when it comes to stunt and action work, especially in the Mission: Impossible movies. Even in his late 40s to early 50s, he was willing to dangle from the Burj Khalifa (the world's tallest building) in Mission: Impossible -- Ghost Protocol and literally hang off the side of a plane taking off in Mission: Impossible -- Rogue Nation.

It's hard to imagine how Cruise can top either of those feats, but evidently Mission: Impossible 6 will see the action star kicking it up a notch for an intense sequence. It's so crazy that it's taken him more than a year to prepare for.

During an interview with Collider, Skydance CEO and Mission: Impossible 6 producer David Ellison spent some time hyping up the forthcoming installment of the spy action series, specifically calling attention to Tom Cruise's next big moment in this franchise. He said:

What Tom is doing in this movie I believe will top anything that's come before. It is absolutely unbelievable---he's been training for a year. It is going to be, I believe, the most impressive and unbelievable thing that Tom Cruise has done in a movie, and he has been working on it since right after Rogue Nation came out.
