TV Ratings: 'America's Got Talent' Dips in Later Time Slot

Written by

America's Got Talent fell in its move to a later time slot Tuesday.

The reality competition moved from 8 to 9 p.m. due to the Hurricane Harvey telethon that aired across the Big Four.

Subsequently, the NBC series dipped two-tenths to a 2.3 rating in the adults 18-49 demo.

However, that still helped NBC easily take the night.

At 8 p.m., the Hurricane Harvey telethon pulled a combined 2.7 rating in the demo across NBC, ABC, CBS and Fox. The hourlong special amassed 15.7 million viewers across the Big Four.

The only other new show of the evening, Somewhere Between (0.3 adults) was flat for ABC.
