House Conference chair Elise Stefanik (R-NY) has reportedly shattered fundraising records by amassing an impressive $7.1 million in the initial quarter, as disclosed by sources to Breitbart News on Thursday.

The substantial funds were dedicated to supporting House candidates, national committees, and Stefanik’s crucial New York battleground initiative.

During the first quarter, the average contribution to Team Elise stood at $21, with an impressive 70,000 individuals contributing to the cause.

Throughout the ongoing 2024 cycle, Team Elise has successfully garnered a total of $20 million in donations.

Expressing her gratitude, Stefanik conveyed to reporters, “I am humbled and incredibly grateful for the record support from longtime and first-time Team Elise donors in Upstate New York and across the country. The America First Movement under President Trump’s leadership has never been in a stronger position. We are off to a great start to 2024 as we work to elect President Trump, protect and expand our House Republican Majority, and save America.”

Having assumed the role of conference chair from former Rep. Liz Cheney in mid-2021, Stefanik played a pivotal role in the Republican Party's success in reclaiming the House in 2022, including the flipping of four seats in New York State, securing a narrow yet significant majority.

In a strategic move in 2023, Stefanik unveiled a plan to counter Democratic opposition in the upcoming 2024 election cycle by introducing the “NY Battleground Fund,” aimed at thwarting Democrat assaults and safeguarding the majority in New York.

Stefanik's political ambitions have also positioned her as a potential contender for the role of Trump’s running mate.
