Judge Moore is best known nationally for his defense of marriage, the U.S. Constitution, and his insistence on keeping the Ten Commandments at Alabama's high court. The popular judge first gained national notoriety some 15 years ago, when the feds unconstitutionally ordered him to take down a monument of the Ten Commandments. He refused.
