The Senate Judiciary Committee will hold a vote on the nomination Monday for Neil Gorsuch to serve as an associate justice on the Supreme Court.

Several hours into the hearing Monday, it became clear that Democrats have enough support for a filibuster on Gorsuch’s nomination.

The Senate will begin the full confirmation vote on the floor on Friday, and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Kentucky, has warned that Republicans would pursue the nuclear option and eliminate the filibuster for Supreme Court nominations if Democrats are united against Gorsuch.

Three Senate Democrats had announced that they support Gorsuch’s nomination -- Sens. Joe Manchin of West Virginia, Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota and Joe Donnelly of Indiana. Sen. Michael Bennet, D-Colorado, announced Monday that he would vote to advance his nomination and not join the Democratic filibuster.

Republicans would have needed four more Senate Democrats to support Gorsuch in order to advance his nomination over the 60-vote threshold to reach a final confirmation vote. But now, 41 Senate Democrats are against cloture and the final confirmation vote. Three are still undecided.

These are the Senate Democrats still undecided on cloture and final confirmation:

The Democratic Party is an ABSOLUTE DISGRACE !!! This nominee was confirmed by "Voice Vote", to previous Judicial Positions. The Radical Left Wing (99% of that party's card carrying members) still cannot accept the fact that Hillary Clinton LOST the Presidential Election. Get over it folks, it's time to move on.

Leahy's comments are a testiment to why we need term limits in congress. Cruz hit the nail on the head with what the issue is. What a dog and pony show congress is now. Sad our government has gotten to such a low place.

Go nuclear!!! Thank you Dirty Harry Reid!!! Then president Trump will have 2 possibly 3 more Supreme Court appointments needing only 51 votes!!! As well as 110 appeals and circuit court positions to fill!! Protect our constitution and more importantly our country!!!

He's about as milquetoast as they come. If the Dems really do vote against him, they would vote against anyone who is not a bug eyed leftist nutjob.

The typical not too bright look of the average leftist tool.

Seriously the Democrats will continue to lose seats as they put Party before Country. Time for some paybacks to the Progressive Left and go NUCLEAR. He should have been a shoe in based on his rating and qualifications. Makes OBAMA's guy look like a novice. I am now getting a gag reflex at the mention of Schumer, Pelosi,Warren and Waters and the rest of the Idiot Patrol .
