McMaster: “The president in no way compromised any sources or methods.”

Written by  Mary Chastain

McMaster described the discussion with the Russians as “wholly appropriate.”

Yesterday, The Washington Postcaused mass hysteria when it released a report that President Donald Trump provided highly classified information to the Russian Foreign Minister and Ambassador.

Of course the publication used anonymous sources.

National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster denied the story through a written statement and in front of the press. Then today he went before the press again and told reporters that Trump did not compromise any sources or methods to the Russians. He described the discussion as “wholly appropriate.”

McMaster starts the conference by saying that Trump will speak to leaders of Muslim countries to confront radical Islam. He continues to describe his visit to Israel.

McMaster stands by his denial of the WaPo story and the premise of the article is false. Our national security is at risk when those violate confidentiality. Trump did not say anything inappropriate or violate our national security.

He again tells the press that the discussion was “wholly appropriate” and was standard info discussed with heads of states working together. He is also not concerned that others will start withholding information from us.

McMaster reminds the press that Tillerson and Powell were in the room as well and no one thought the information was inappropriate.

The anti-Trumpers were frothing at mouth, ready to climax in their pants at the thought they could immediately impeach him...I have never seen such a collection of Brutus' circling Caesar, sharpening their knives ready to gut the man [from day one actually]...really, I'm tired of the feeding frenzy of the press, the Communists, the socialists, the progressives, and other bottom feeders who are pouncing on a guy who wants to help our nation succeed and become great again [unlike the power elite who want to continually feed off the taxpayer]...

isn't it high time that libel suits be filed against the Washington post for all their, anonymous sources, fake news....they are hurting a whole nation, just because they are butt hurt about Trump winning the presidency as are most of the MSM...they should all be included in the suit!

“It is socialism, not oil prices or the weather or greedy businessmen or any other such factor that’s to blame for Venezuela’s economic crisis. This is what socialism produces. Always and everywhere … Why do reporters ignore the obvious? We’d surmise that it’s largely because liberal journalists are infatuated with the idea of socialism.”

The people must understand that the mainstream media is an enemy of Conservative Americans and you are not going to receive the TRUTH that has not passed through their corrupt Socialist / Communistic values.
Make the news, interpret it, manipulate it and keep repeating it, loud and long, why? because many stupid non-thinking Americans will begin believing it, after all that is how Socialism and Communism works, it requires stupid people to work, and that is what they don't want you to know! Please read History.

The POTUS and McMaster should go on national TV and in a prepared speech denounce the MSM. The substance of the speech should publicize the MSM - and the NY Times in particular. The following excerpted from the editorial in the NY Sun:

2006, when the Gray Lady thumbed its nose for news at President Bush’s pleadings that the paper refrain from disclosing that the government, in its hunt for terrorists, was mining data of the Swift banking consortium. The Bush administration had begged the Times not to proceed. Yet it did so. President Bush called it “disgraceful,” adding that the “fact that a newspaper disclosed it makes it harder to win this war on terror.”

It was only three years ago that the Washington Post won the Pulitzer Gold Medal for what it called “a series of stories that exposed the National Security Agency’s massive global surveillance programs.” It had based its articles on what it called “classified documents leaked by Edward Snowden, the former government contractor who has fled to exile in Russia.” The Swift story and the NSA scoops were but two examples of the press taking a hard line in respect of the public’s so-called right to know."

HOWEVER, it is also important to note the following as well -

That after the meeting with the Russians - (from Jim Geraghty - National Review):

After Trump’s meeting, senior White House officials took steps to contain the damage, placing calls to the CIA and the National Security Agency…. Thomas P. Bossert, assistant to the president for homeland security and counter terrorism, placed calls to the directors of the CIA and the NSA, the services most directly involved in the intelligence-sharing arrangement with the partner.

This morning a phone call between President Trump and Jordan’s king Abdullah was added to the president’s schedule. Jordan’s got a heck of an intelligence service, and they’re a usually reliable U.S. ally. The Islamic State’s territory is just north of their country. How likely is it that this phone call is aimed to reassure that unidentified “U.S. ally” in the story?

The POTUS needs to:

Be more guarded and nuanced in his conversations, especially when dealing with foreign leaders and their operatives

DO NOT LET THE MSM GET AWAY WITH THEIR OVERT HYPOCRISY! Call them out for NOT acting with regard to national security
