Here we go with the popular election battle. First, there have been lawsuits created over illegal votes across the nation in the democrat side of the ledger.
There are questions of millions of votes placed by illegal voters, duplicate votes and dead voters votes.
Secondly, if one objects to equal rights per state they should do more research. If no electoral college exists to regulate fair state representation weights and
if popular only exists, even democrats will lose out on their primary selections. Only NY and CA will determine who is the dem candidate forevermore.
So Ma, NH, east coast, etc, even Oregon and Wa you better be kissing NY and CA butts and like who they pick! And I am not a republican.

Democracy is based on majority rule/minority rights. Why should it, in electing Senators, should it take 97 California voters to have the same weight as 1 Montana or Wyoming voter? This nation was founded, per the Declaration of Independence, on the concepts of equality (and equality of all votes is basic) and consent of the governed (and the minority of voters can never constitute consent of the majority), and lacking those principles, armed revolution was justified. Nothing has changed. Why should Montana and Wyoming, with only 3% the citizens of California have twice as many Senators and votes? Why should representatives of 15% of the population (the 22 least populous states) have the ability to thwart the will of 85% (the other states)?

Why should a voter in Boseman' vote count as 9700% greater than my vote in California?

The answer is that the Constitution was written to enable the slave owners to control the new nation, tho they were in the minority. The Senate scheme was intended to give the South disproportionate voting power, and the Electoral College was erected as a firewall against the popular vote and democracy, which was despised and feared.

So today, the loser of the actual election by the citizens, in 2 of the last 3 Presidents, has been the loser, selected by a small group of party hacks based on rural conservative states having 350% more voting power, per citizen, than the states where most of the citizens live.
You either believe in democracy or fascism.....majority rule or minority rule. You either want the person chosen by the public to be President, with consent and therefore legitimate, or you want the loser to gain power, and lacking the tailwind of popular support, compelled to rule by lies, threats, an violence, as with Hitler, Mussolini, and Bush II, all of whom lost the vote of the public but gained power. Now we have Trump escalating 5 wars, threatening to use nukes, cutting Medicaid an SNAP while proposing huge tax cuts for himself and his billionaire cronies. Those who gain power without popular consent always lead to disaster.

Majority rule is not only a principle based on the concept of equality but a strategy to prevent unpopular rulers from taking power and being compelled to use threats and violence to rule.

We're not a Democracy, snowflake. We're a Republic. You obviously don't know what you're talking about.

Yes Marco, that is a true statement.
Also true is that the electorate didn't get what they voted against. Namely crony capitalism and one world misery at its worst. They voted against Obama/Hilary As much as for Trump.
Trump is finding his way out of the swamp as it is drained. Shame on nominal Republicans and mindful citizens who expect him to do it despite their fear and insecurity.
Via Rand, Rubio, Cruz, Gowdy and Pence. Courageous pols that make the Dembos look even worse than they do by their own actions.
