Home Depot Will Add More Than 80,000 Jobs This Spring

Written by  Brian Thomas

After AT&T agreed to create 3,000 U.S. jobs, brought back from oversees outsourcing, yet another company has announced massive new hiring plans, as The Home Depot is set to create 80,000 new jobs for in time for spring.

Customer service reps, warehouse and freight workers, and store retailers will fill full and part time positions as well as seasonal ones.

To make hiring easier, the company has shortened the length of the application and is enabling potential employees to apply directly from their smartphones or tablets.

“We want everyone to have an easy and convenient experience with The Home Depot, whether they’re shopping with us or applying for a position,” said Tim Crow, the retailer’s executive vice president for human resources.

The company has even taken measures to ease the applying process.

the Co-owner of Home Depot likes the direction the Trump crew is headed..Lower taxes and regulation is good for business.

I'd feel better about who was being hired if it was Lowes doing the hiring & not Home Depot.

Home Depot makes Lowes look bad they hire some very good people who seem to know what they are doing. Lowes is a Libtards store that I will not use.

What a moronic comment on your part. Lowe's decided to do away with as many fulltime employees as they could in order to save on having to pay overtime and benefits. You would do well to educate yourself before making an @$$ of yourself publicly.

Ice needs to hang out in front. From my experience thats where all the illegals are every morning looking for work with contractors.

You sir, are true swine. The Chief Cheeto in Charge has a little something to brighten his day although when I finish my homework (try it sometime, you actually might get some real insight) I seriously doubt the Donald will have had a lot of impact or if the number is remotely correct. Instead you have to worry about some poor schmuck trying to feed his family.

I would agree with you if ice would arrest the contractors hiring. The illegals are only looking to better themselves just as you or I would do if we were in their shoes. The scumbag contractors are trying to get labor cheap by hiring illegals and not paying taxes, insurance or even minimum wage

All im worried about is criminal illegals and the ones hiring them to save afew dollars

Barry 'Takkiya' Soetoro's seriously thinking about applying to earn a little extra money to fund Moosechelle's infamous vacation jaunts. He has a vision of running a Home Depot 'You Didn't Build That' Workshop...

That is very admirable, but in looking at the facts of many issues regarding Home depot in the past, they seem to favor "refugees" over Americans. Lets hope that this is a portent of GOOD things to come!

The bulk of these jobs will go to Syrian refugees, I trust.
