Shots Fired At Ferguson Market After CNN Broadcasts Fake News and Edited CCTV Footage

Written by  The Last Refuge

As we shared last night, CNN is promoting a highly charged false claim about new, heavily edited CCTV footage from the Ferguson Liquor Market on the night before Mike Brown was shot and killed.

We have thoroughly deconstructed the lies HERE.

CNN is promoting this fake documentary, “Stranger Fruit“,  that uses heavily edited footage of an earlier Mike Brown visit to the store.  According to the documentary Mike Brown was exchanging marijuana for store product at 1:13am the night (early morning) prior to his return and strong arm robbery of the same store.  The footage is edited to give the appearance of store employees accepting weed as barter for product.  This is false.

Secondarily, the producer of the video, Jason Pollock, is claiming the police never released the earlier in the day CCTV footage and instead tried to hide it.  Again, this is false.  Both the Grand Jury and the FBI were given -and reviewed- all of the CCTV footage including footage from the 1:13am visit.   However, CNN is promoting the falsehoods by the documentary producers in an effort to stir trouble.

Well, their collective antagonism worked:

FERGUSON –  Shortly before midnight, 7 or 8 shots were heard from an area across the street from the market. There appeared to be no injuries.

I have watched this case so very closely from day one. While I have never met Officer Darrin Wilson, I did support him with funds when he was going through the whole mess, I stood beside him throughout the process, and offered as much support as I could during that time. Being a disabled Police Chief, I understand the process, and I could see how the press was trying crucify him. In fact I did receive a letter of appreciation from Officer Wilson after the ordeal was complete. I have a Hoodie with the WE SUPPORT YOU logo on it, and wear it proudly when this crap pops up from time to time, I am only sorry it is too warm to put on right now here in Arizona. The Clinton News Network has tried at every opportunity to harm both Police and the Military, they have shown nothing but contempt for our new President, and still try to defend the criminal Hillary Clinton at every chance. Their channel is locked out in our home, and shall always remain so.

If anyone wishes to even dent the Clinton News Network, and to defend Officer Wilsons actions then BOYCOTT, BOYCOTT, BOYCOTT any and all sponsors that would dare to have their name and/or product shown on that channel. This is the blood of cnn.

Exactly BOYCOTT the only problem is, in order to get the sponsors of these idiots, one needs to watch, and watching is breaking the boycott. Sort of circular reasoning or something like that.

While we the American people were enjoying our life liberty and our pursuit of our happiness that is granted to us by the constitution of the greatest country on God's green earth, CNN was going global and becoming too big to fail. Sounds very familiar like what liberal leftists did with our banking system. That has still not been corrected either.

The idea that these 24 hour "news" media are anything but "infotainment" is ludicrous.
If you don't like or cannot believe what is fed to you by these highly profitable agencies pandering to your alraedy numbed mind, turn off the talking head and go do something useful.
Playing "oh isn't it awful" by quoting "news" sources around the water cooler has teached epidemic and costly proportions.
Real info and verifiable opinion always is printed published and signed by its source. Propaganda never is.
But propaganda purveyors and consumers are volunteers not victims.
They get what they deserve.

Most of the country wouldn't expect any less from a fake news network that's circling the drain. Can't wait for the final gurgle at the end.

CNN needed something to get more ratings. so they brought up some old news. Their luck that there happen to be some gun shots somewhere or I wouldn't put it past them to arrange for someone to shoot off a gun for the cameras. These people are soooooooo full of shit. Anyone that wanted to know the truth could have seen that video a long time ago. If you didn't see it, it's your own damn fault. Why does anyone with a brain watch these idiots anymore anyway?

The footage was never released publicly. That is what made it news. The notion that the documentary is "fake" is an editorial judgment by The Last Refuge, not a fact.

What a b.s. story!

Not a B.S. story. The footage did not have to be released publicly as the important people saw it the FBI and the Grand Jury, whether you and i saw it is not germane to the discussion.

Mike Davis, pay attention, OK? This was not a story about whether or not the public should have seen the footage or not. The story is about about a documentary showing footage that the general public -- including most residents of Ferguson -- had never seen. That angle made the story newsworthy and, thus, not fake news.

Need to take the profit out of news or reclassify it as sick entertainment all of them FOX included

Did someone shoot at the market? OR, were there just some shots in the area across the street and not shot at the market?
Anymore I'm getting suspicious of all news media reports about anything that I have not personally seen myself.

CNN needs to be held responsible for any consequences resulting from their false reporting and if that means jail time for their management, then so be it. Let's face it, this so-called news network is promoting violence.

Allan, that is a stupid comment. There was no false reporting, and, besides, there is no law available to jail them anyway.

Patrick, under what law can you file charges? There's no criminal law. If the store owner wants to go after CNN for libel, they can try -- but they will fail.

There is only one reason michael brown died (that day anyway).. He was within 2 rampaging strides (1/2 second) of slamming the officer he already shot at into the side of his car, at which time the officer knew his life would probably be ended within a few more seconds. And brown chose no other path, of the literally millions he could have taken that day..

It seems to me that the video showed him going the other way with hands up. Maybe you could post the video of the attack?

We need action more so than the rhetoric of words. A good attorney could file a lawsuit against CNN however who pays the attorney, they cannot do it for free. Perhaps through some organization. Most important: any advertiser on CNN write them and boycott their products. This is he best way to hurt CNN. My other solution that is most important we all need to pray to Our Lord Jesus to get sanity back into the minds of people. Yes Ferguson has gone way downhill from the time I ran for mayor in Ferguson when I was 24 (almost 60 yrs ago) Art KeBeau, Villa Ridge, MO (Christian & Conservative)

It is so sad Arthur to hear what is happening in Ferguson and across the country. At a time when blacks and whites should be coming together in unity about the conditions this country is facing, they are being pulled apart by the liberal news media. It's time for old fashioned Americans like us to start writing hand-written or typed personal letters to groups like CNN in cases like these.

Of course they would first have to prove that the video is not authentic. Various opinions to that effect don't count for much except in your church. Where myth and superstition prevail.

Mike please make your post understandable. In my church with myth etc. What is the world are you writing about? You are one of the problems with other readers trying to comprehend that which you wrote. Keep at trying and perhaps you have an explanation that makes sense. Thanks. Art LeBeau

Most of CNN's funds come from forced purchasing of their channel through cable networks. I have e-mailed Dish Network (my provider) and recommended they remove CNN, MSNBC and CNBC from my subscription or I will cancel them and go with an internet solution that does not force me to buy channels I do not support. I suggest everyone do the same.

I agree I would love to be able to choose the channels I want instead of the packages that we are forced to buy. CNN in the US is the least watched news channel but it is huge internationally and I give them credit for the anti-American sentiment in most countries.

Kelly, where in the world do you get the idea that CNN gets most of its money from carriage fees? You are not even close!

Good luck with that Internet solution.

Go read their financial statement but here is an article from Forbes:
the heart of the CNN (and cable) business is subscription fees, which account for around 50% of total revenue. Advertising and ancillary revenue streams account for the other 50%.

You can bet if they lost a large number of cable subs at least half of it's advertising would go away too .. bankrupt

Actually I only have Dish for a few channels to DVR. Once they get DVR for live streaming I have no need for Dish.

The statement was that "most" of the revenue came from carriage fees. Fifty percent is not "most." In 2016, it wasn't even 50% as CNN ad revenue was up sharply.

If you include the advertising they inherit from the forced cable subs then yes most.
