The tragic incident, where the teenager lost her life due to a single gunshot before 10 p.m., was confirmed in a statement released by the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department. According to the police report, De’Ann disclosed that the fatal shot was fired unintentionally when she was searching for her keys inside her purse, where her unholstered .40 caliber semi-automatic pistol was stored.

Following the shooting, the victim was swiftly transported to Vanderbilt’s Pediatric Emergency room, where she succumbed to her injuries, as per law enforcement officials. Radley expressed her grief for her departed daughter through various social media posts, emphasizing the profound pain she is enduring.
