Former wrestling star and WCW Tag Team Champion, 2 Cold Scorpio, found himself in a legal tussle following his arrest on June 15.

Charles Scaggs, as he is known outside the wrestling ring, was apprehended by the police for allegedly stabbing a man during a heated exchange at a gas station, as reported by TMZ.

At the time of the incident, Scaggs was employed as a security guard at the Love’s Travel Stop in Kansas City, Missouri, where the violent encounter unfolded in the early hours of the morning. According to court documents, Scaggs claimed he acted in self-defense when he confronted a man for lighting a cigarette inside the establishment. The victim, however, denied lighting the cigarette within the premises, suggesting it might not have been fully extinguished before he entered the building, according to the Daily Caller.

The situation rapidly escalated, leading to Scaggs allegedly stabbing the man. Consequently, he was arrested and now faces two felony charges — one count of first-degree assault and one count of armed criminal action. Scaggs recounted that the man had aggressively responded to his request to extinguish the cigarette, leading to a verbal altercation that eventually moved outside the store. The former wrestler claimed that the man attempted to physically engage him, prompting him to draw a knife from his pocket and stab the man in self-defense.
