In a startling revelation, Gateway Pundit reported that the FBI allegedly manipulated a crime scene at Mar-a-Lago, the residence of former President Donald Trump, by adding their own documents and doctoring the photo they released in their report and to the press.

According to the Department of Justice (DOJ), a document they claim was seized during the raid at Mar-a-Lago was provided to the court and subsequently made headlines on August 31, 2022. The FBI inserted red, yellow, and brown cover sheets into the photo, a move that raised eyebrows as the Trump White House had their own cover sheets and did not require these.

"The President has the right to documents that are his. They are his property and an inserted document saying something different is simply not true," the Gateway Pundit reported. This statement underscores the conservative viewpoint that emphasizes individual rights and property ownership.

In a surprising turn of events, Jack Smith, a federal prosecutor, confessed last month that the FBI tampered with the boxes containing "classified" documents they seized from Trump, casting doubt on the order or the placement of the documents. This admission contradicts the DOJ's statement in August 2022, where they claimed that the colored sheets shown in the viral photo of the classified documents indicated their classification status.

The Gateway Pundit reported that these were actually "slip sheets" the FBI used to replace the so-called classified documents. This revelation raises serious questions about the FBI's handling of the case and their respect for individual rights, a cornerstone of conservative values.

In a recent court filing, Smith released a new set of photos that purportedly show classified documents stored in a "haphazard manner" at Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate. These photos were part of a court filing aimed at opposing Trump's motion to dismiss the indictment based on the "spoliation" of evidence.

The Independent reported that the photos showed documents marked "secret" and "top secret" or bearing the White House emblem stuffed in cardboard boxes alongside piles of golf shirts, sitting on top of old newspapers, and next to crates of Diet Coke. This portrayal of Trump's handling of classified documents seems to be an attempt to paint him in a negative light, a tactic often used by those critical of conservative figures.

Trump's legal team, however, has argued that others, such as James Comey, Joe Biden, Mike Pence, and Bill and Hillary Clinton, all illegally possessed classified documents, yet they were never prosecuted. This argument underscores the conservative viewpoint that the law should be applied equally to all, regardless of their political affiliation or status.

The defense also contends that FBI agents who executed the search warrant failed to maintain the order of the documents as they were found, violating Trump's due process rights and undermining the claim that Trump was aware of the classified nature of the documents mixed with personal items.

Smith's team, however, argued that there is no basis for dismissing the charges against Trump because of a disruption of the precise order of documents seized from Mar-a-Lago. They accused the former president of maintaining the boxes containing sensitive material in a "haphazard manner" and praised the FBI agents who conducted the search for their professionalism.

In a move that raises further questions about the FBI's handling of the case, it was revealed that the FBI turned off security cameras at Mar-a-Lago out of “concern for agent safety.” This action, coupled with the alleged manipulation of the crime scene, casts a shadow over the integrity of the investigation and the respect for individual rights, a key tenet of conservative values.

As the case unfolds, it remains to be seen how these revelations will impact the proceedings and the public's perception of the FBI's actions. The conservative perspective, which champions individual rights and equal application of the law, will undoubtedly continue to scrutinize the handling of this case closely.
