According to Gateway Pundit, in a conversation with CNN's Wolf Blitzer, Biden campaign co-chair, Senator Chris Coons of Delaware, insisted that Biden continues to be "sharp and engaged," dismissing any concerns about his political future.
Blitzer posed a question to Coons about Vice President Kamala Harris's evasion of Anderson Cooper's inquiries regarding Biden's daily persona, as compared to his debate performance. Blitzer asked, "What’s your answer to that? Because you know him well.”
Coons, who recently attended the G7 Summit in Italy, responded, “I do. And I was just in Europe for a few days where the G7 Summit was held. Leaders from across Europe who’ve met with him and worked with him, say the same thing that I’ll tell you from working with him and meeting with him, he is sharp and engaged, his cognitive capabilities are as good as ever."

Coons acknowledged some physical changes in Biden, stating, “Yes, his gait has a little bit of a shuffle to it. Sometimes he speaks a little softly." However, he emphasized that Biden's leadership abilities and decision-making skills remain unimpaired. "His abilities for leadership, for surrounding himself with outstanding people, and making the right choice for the American people, that is undimmed. And, frankly, his record is one of the strongest of any president in my lifetime.”

Biden also took a jab at his debate opponent, saying, “I spent 90 minutes on a stage debating a guy who has the morals of an alley cat. I think he [Trump] set a new record for the number of lies told at a single debate.” This statement underscores Biden's commitment to truth and integrity, key values that resonate with conservative audiences.
