In a recent revelation, Bill Stevenson, the former spouse of First Lady Jill Biden, has expressed his disapproval of her seemingly unwavering support for President Biden, despite his perceived faltering performance in the election debates.

Stevenson, who was married to Jill Biden from 1970 to 1975, voiced his concerns about the transformation he has witnessed in his ex-wife over the years.

"The Dr. Jill Biden who I've seen on TV in the last five years is not the same person I married or that I recognize in any way," Stevenson remarked in an interview with The New York Post. He further added, "She's matriculated into a completely different woman."

Stevenson, a 75-year-old Delaware resident and staunch Trump supporter, has been openly critical of the Bidens, whom he has occasionally referred to as "the Biden crime family." He expressed his bewilderment at Jill Biden's determination to defend her husband and keep him in the election race, despite apparent struggles. "It appears that he's struggling with everybody these days," Stevenson observed.

Stevenson, who has since remarried and has a family of his own, once backed Biden during his vice-presidential run with Barack Obama and his 1972 Senate campaign. However, his support waned in 2020 when Biden was announced as the Democratic presidential nominee. Stevenson alleged that Jill Biden and the then-junior senator's relationship began as an affair.

Stevenson's past interactions with Biden have left him with a less than favorable impression of the President. Recalling an incident from 1972, when Biden visited the Stone Balloon, a popular nightspot in Newark, Delaware, Stevenson claimed that Biden had repeated a humorous anecdote about his prep school football days to the club bouncers, just two hours after Stevenson had shared the same story with him.

"It makes me cringe every time he calls Trump a liar, because I'm telling you right now, there is no better liar than President Biden," Stevenson stated. He further described Biden as "just a bad person," adding, "I'm probably one of the few people outside his family who has known him for 50 years."

Stevenson is set to self-publish a second book, "The Bidens: The Early Years," next month. While the book will not delve into Biden's current state, Stevenson did share his thoughts on the President's present mental condition. "Look, I'm not a doctor or a psychiatrist but yeah, I felt he lost a step three or four years ago. Now I think it's more like a couple of steps. Do I feel badly for him? No, because he did some horrible things to me and my family," he concluded.
