Joe Biden, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, continues to display signs of cognitive decline and delusion, despite his uncertain political future.

According to Gateway Pundit, Biden attended a private fundraiser in New Jersey on Saturday, hosted by Governor Phil Murphy. Here, he confessed to the sparse crowd that his debate performance was subpar, but promised to rally.

In a perplexing assertion, Biden claimed that his performance in Thursday's presidential debate with President Trump had swayed more undecided voters his way, primarily due to Trump's behavior on January 6. "Research during the debate shows us converting more undecided voters than Trump did, in large part because of his conduct on Jan. 6," Biden told the 50 attendees. "People remember the bad things during his presidency."

He further added, "The big takeaway was his lies." However, this claim by Biden is widely disputed. Several recent polls, including one from CNN, indicate that Trump emerged as the clear winner of the debate, contradicting Biden's boastful assertion.

Biden didn't stop at self-praise. He launched a series of attacks on Trump, labeling his predecessor a "genuine threat" to America. He also criticized Trump's economic plans, suggesting they would exacerbate inflation. This is a curious claim, given that inflation was not a significant issue until Biden took office.

Biden also criticized Trump's treatment of veterans, a move that seems ironic given his own questionable conduct towards the armed forces.

Despite Biden's declining mental state, Governor Murphy showered him with praise, dubbing him "America's comeback kid." He also pledged unwavering support for Biden amidst the ongoing campaign crisis. "You're on fire and we are all with you 1,000%," Murphy told Biden, demonstrating a steadfast commitment to the beleaguered candidate.
