He also stressed the importance of genuine education over progressive indoctrination in the classroom. “I want him to get a real education. He’s going to grow up and go to school. I want him to go to a school that teaches him to read, to write, that reaches him arithmetic, that teaches him to love his country and his fellow citizens. And — and what I want for my family. I want for your family, too. That’s my job. My job is to fight for every single person in this room, every person watching at home as if they were my own family, as if they were my own kin. And so, I don’t just want these things for my kids. I want them for your kids.”
