In a recent episode of her SiriusXM podcast, "The Megyn Kelly Show," former Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly took a swipe at Hillary Clinton, the former Secretary of State and U.S. Senator from New York.

Kelly criticized the apparent digital enhancement of Clinton's image on the cover of her latest book, comparing it to the extensive plastic surgeries of the late comedian Joan Rivers. As reported by The New York Post, Kelly quipped, “The amount of retouching on this face I haven’t seen since Joan Rivers had her 15th surgery — God love Joan.”

Kelly further questioned the intention behind the soft-focus image of Clinton, stating, “She looks nothing like herself.” The conservative commentator suggested that Clinton was attempting to project an image of an "elder stateswoman" who "can do it perfectly."

The critique didn't stop at the book cover. Kelly also took issue with a guest column Clinton penned for The New York Times, in which she offered advice to President Joe Biden on how to debate former President Donald Trump. The two men are set to face each other in the first of two presidential debates, scheduled to be broadcast on CNN. Kelly sarcastically asked, “Why aren’t you the president if you’re so smart about how to debate Trump? Asking for a friend.”

In her column, Clinton described Trump's debate style as starting "with nonsense and then digresses into blather." She accused Trump, who defeated her in the 2016 presidential race, of interrupting and bullying to "appear dominant and throw his opponent off balance." Kelly dismissed these comments as mere "insults."

Kelly praised Trump for his boldness during the 2016 debates, stating, “Actually what he [Trump] did was he got out there and said you’d be in jail if he were in charge, and people loved the challenge of power of somebody who’d been considered untouchable.” She lauded Trump for addressing issues important to working-class and middle America, a demographic she accused Clinton of ignoring.

Kelly concluded her critique by noting that Clinton's column lacked any acknowledgment of these points. "None of that is in the op-ed," she said. The New York Post has reached out to Clinton for a response to Kelly's comments.
